My name is Dalma Zombori and I am from the Hungarian town of Baja. About 15 years ago I left Hungary, first living in Austria before my path led me to Germany.
From my own experience I know how hard it can be to find your way in a new country, especially when language becomes a barrier. That experience shaped me and is an important part of my work today.
As a Hungarian–German interpreter, I support people in situations where clear communication really matters. For me it is not just about translating words, but about creating understanding between people and avoiding misunderstandings.
I want my clients to feel they are in good hands. That is why I work reliably, discreetly and with a lot of empathy.

I accompany you to medical appointments and make sure communication between you and the medical staff is clear and reliable.

Support at appointments with authorities, when filling in forms and in important conversations.

Support at conversations and appointments related to your driving licence, including MPU and VPU matters.

Support in conversations with employers and colleagues and with important matters at work.
School & education
Support at meetings in schools, kindergartens or other educational institutions, so everything is clearly understood.
Everyday matters
Support in important everyday conversations, so misunderstandings don't happen in the first place.

In person: Berchtesgadener Land, Salzburg and the surrounding area, and Upper Austria. Further away by arrangement, depending on availability.

Good to know
How is this different from a sworn interpreter?
As a community interpreter, I support you in everyday situations, such as at the doctor's, with public authorities, at work or at school. Courts, notaries or certified translations require sworn interpreters or translators. I do not offer that.
How soon can I get an appointment?
That depends on my availability. The earlier you get in touch, the better, but feel free to ask at short notice too.
Is it possible online?
Yes, I also interpret by phone or video call.
How much does it cost?
Fees depend on the type of appointment, its length and the distance. I'm happy to give you an individual, no-obligation quote.
Is everything kept confidential?
Of course. Everything discussed stays confidential.
